Feet Care in Winter- Home Pedicure

Try the Home Pedicure once a week to keep your feet look fresh in this winter.

  • Remove your nail polish with an herbal nail polish remover or one that you prefer.
  • In a tub and add some bath salts and mild soap/shampoo in lukewarm water. Soak your feet in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Scrub the heels of your feet with a pumice stone or a foot scrub available in market. You may prepare your foot scrub at home as the recipe here.
  •   Take one foot out of the water at a time and wipe around each nail with a dry clean towel.
  • Trim your nails and file them (It is suggested not to cut them too short).
  • Gently clean dirt from under each nail.
  • If your toenails are yellow, take a lemon slice and rub over your nails for 10 minutes.
  •  Get a foot massage cream or oil and massage up to knee for 10 minutes and wipe out. You may use olive oil too.
  •   Apply a feet pack and leave for 10 minutes. You may prepare your foot mask/pack at home as the recipe here.
  •   Wash your feet with lukewarm water and wipe out cream or oil with a towel.
  •   When your feet is dry, apply a coat of natural colour/ clear nail polish.  Let it dry and then apply one coat of your selected nail polish. Let dry. Then apply another coat.
  • Your pedicure is done.
  • To keep the effects of the pedicure and make you feet look fresh, moisturize your feet daily.
